Yeshua Hamashiach the JEW!

Yeshua Hamashiach the JEW!

Jesus Christ was a Jew born in the land of Israel, and He was a Hebrew. Most or all of the 27 books of the New Testament were written by Jews, 9 Jews! Have you read it?

In it we see Yeshua fulfilled more than 324 messianic prophesies!
To fulfill only 8 such prophesies is equivalent to the probability of finding - at random - 1 marked silver dollar on your first try, while being blindfolded and wading out into the great state of Texas (31 times larger than modern Israel)… after it has been completely filled with silver dollars 2 feet high! In other words, what Jesus Christ has done is IMPOSSIBLE except that HE IS THAT HE IS, Yeshua Hamashiach, THE JEWISH MESSIAH, and the ONLY HOPE OF ISRAEL!

Please consider the following 8 OT (Tanakh) prophesies perfectly fulfilled in Yeshua, and no one else ever! They are undeniably documented in the Old and New Testaments!

1. Yeshua to be born of a virgin

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. (Isaiah 7:14)

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. (*See Matthew 1:18-25-2:1; Luke 1:26-35)

2. Yeshua to be born in Bethlehem

But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. (Micah 5:2)

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, (*See verses Matthew 2:1-5; John 7:42; Luke 2:4-7)

3. Yeshua to shine as a great spiritual light in Galilee

Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. (Isaiah 9:1-2)

Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee; And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, (Matthew 4:12-14 )

According to the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, the vast majority of Yeshua’s 3 1/2 year ministry was in Galilee, where He did mighty works/wonders everywhere, more than can be numbered here! He healed the sick, healed the blind, cast out devils, fed the multitudes upwards of 4 and 5 thousand more than one time, and much more. Everywhere He went, everyone was astonished because His name is El Pele, the Wonderful God as it is written in Isaiah 9:6, and He did wonderfully!

(Some references of His works in Galilee: Matthew 8:16-17, 9:32-35).

4. Yeshua to be preceded by a special Jewish messenger, an Elijah

Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. (Mal. 3:1; cf. Isaiah 40:3; Mal. 4:5)

John the Baptist preached the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins and quoted the Old Testament at the Jordan River for 6 months, declaring that the One coming after Him was preferred before Him, whose shoe’s latchet he was not worthy to unloose! Then he was imprisoned and martyred for Yeshua!

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. [30] This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. [31] And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. (John 1:29-31; cf. Matthew 3:1-17; 11:1-19; Luke 1:5-25, 1:57-80; Luke 3:1-22; 7:18-35).

5. Yeshua to enter Jerusalem as a King on a donkey/ass and suddenly come to His Temple

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. (Zechariah 9:9)

See Malachi 3:1, cited above in point #4 concerning the Messiah suddenly coming to the Temple.

Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass… (Matthew 21:5)

And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. (Matthew 21:9; cf. Matthew 21:1-17; Mark 11:1-11; Luke 19:29-38)

6. Yeshua to be betrayed/forsaken by His brethren/people

As Joseph was betrayed by his own nation (Genesis 37; so was Moses, Jephthah, David, and many other Jewish types of Hamashiach), and sold into the hands of the gentiles (goyim), so Jesus was betrayed by His people in fulfillment of the scriptures, and given into the hands of Rome. “He came unto His own and His own received Him not.” (John 1:11)

Isaiah 53:3 says that “He [HaMashiach] is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.”

The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. (Psalm 118:22-23)

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. (Zechariah 13:7)

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? (Matthew 21:42)

Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad. (Matthew 26:31)

7. Yeshua to be betrayed and crucified and cut off, but not for Himself

Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22 speak about the HaMashiach being rejected and crucified/bruised/sacrificed for His people! In fact, Psalm 22 perfectly depicts a scene of crucifixion long before this form of capital punishment was known, a scene perfectly fulfilled in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ 2000 years ago, which chapter Yeshua quoted on the cross as seen in the scripture below (please read all of Psalm 22!).

The account of Yeshua’s crucifixion is given in all four gospels in the first 4 books of the New Testament: Matthew 26-28, Mark 14-16, Luke 22-24. He is the “Lord our passover.” (1 Co. 5:7) The Old Testament references, types, shadows, and prophesies fulfilled in His sacrificial death are too many to mention in full here. THERE IS NO OTHER HOPE OF ATONEMENT FOR SIN!

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? (Psalm 22:1)

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? (Matthew 27:46)

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. (Exodus 12:13)

And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! (John 1:36)

And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. (Genesis 22:1-13)

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself… (Daniel 9:26)

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53:4-6)

8. Yeshua to be resurrected from the dead, and exalted to the Davidic Throne, having overcome the world, sin, Satan, death, and hell!

THE GOSPEL/GOOD NEWS is a term that originates in the Hebrew Scriptures in Isaiah 40:9, 41:27, 52:7, 61:1, and it is fulfilled in Yeshua Hamashiach the JEW, especially in that He was risen from the dead on the third day!

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. (1 Cor. 15:3-6)

For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. (Psalm 16:10; cf. Isaiah 53:9-10, Psalm 2:7)

Both the Apostle Peter a Jew, and the Apostle Paul a Jew quote the verse above about the prophesied and fulfilled resurrection of Yeshua in the book of Acts, while preaching to unconverted Jews, many of which were consequentially converted to the faith of Yeshua Hamashiach!

Please read the following from the New Testament: Acts 2:22-32, Acts 13:26-41.

An imminent type of Yeshua, Joseph, after being slandered and consequentially descending into the deep political prison of Potipher (Genesis 39), was suddenly exalted and made the ruler over all the land of Egypt (Genesis 41)! He then pursued the salvation of his wicked brethren, who had desired his righteous blood without a cause.

They thought to make his dreams disappear, dreams from God of all Israel/his brethren bowing down to him (Genesis 37:5-20)

God’s eternal decree signified by the sun and the moon and stars bowing down to Joseph could not be thwarted by sinners, and after Joseph’s pursuit of his brethren - working together with God to show them their sin unto true humiliation for what they had done - Joseph revealed his true identity to them in the Hebrew tongue (Genesis 45:1-3)! ALL ISRAEL WAS ASTONISHED, REPENTANT, AND SAVED BY PUTTING THEIR TRUST IN THE GOD OF ISRAEL WHO HAD DONE ALL OF THIS!

Joseph was now the head over all the land of Egypt under Pharaoh with bread to save both the Israelites and the rest of the nations in that generation during the present famine 7 year, which was to last for 5 more years (Gen. 45:6,1). The antitype of Joseph is alive today, and HIS GLORY IS OVER ALL OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, AND IS FAR GREATER THAN JOSEPH’S. According to the New Testament, in fulfillment of the Old Testament, Yeshua Hamashiach was crucified, buried, then he descended, and was resurrected. Finally, He ascended to the ETERNAL DAVIDIC THRONE OF GLORY, where He is now with all the spiritual bread that Israel needs, all in fulfillment of countless prophesies! AND HE IS THE ONLY HOPE OF ISRAEL TODAY!

And, behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaketh unto you. And ye shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that ye have seen; and ye shall haste and bring down my father hither. (Genesis 45:12-13)

(Scriptures on the Ascension to the Eternal Davidic Throne and their fulfillment: 1 Sam. 2:10, 2 Sam. 7:12-16, Ps. 89:36, Acts 2:33-36, Rev. 5).

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20; cf. Matthew 28; Mark 16; Luke 24; John 20-21)
